The Hampton Hub

This is our holistic approach to a day program that is as unique as the participants that access this program. we offer a range of activities and can facilitate a variety of hands on learning experiences. We aim to spark individuals passion for for all things creative. we also prioritise a healthy social environment that doesn't comprise the balance of engaging fun and practical learning. Below are our 5 main areas of focus and some information on what that looks like at the Hampton Hub

Wood work

Our team's skills and equipment provide all participants one may discover the Art of Woodworking. Participants are invited to work on their own projects and learn skills to create a variety of pieces separately or in combination with other aspects of the Hub

Mechanics

Active

We believe staying active is essential for physical and mental well being. We offer oppurtunites for a diverse range of activities including outdoor ball sports; Basketball, Cricket hand ball. we also offer Bike riding with a fleet of bikes and safety equipment (accessible 3 wheel bikes available).

Metal work

Participants will have the oppurtunity to learn new skills from our trained team that include; welding for both practical use and artistic expression.

Social

We emphasise social interaction with our team and all participants. We also take full advantage of learning opportunities for participants to engage in healthy and fulfilling interaction in group settings. We also encourage opportunities for participants to recharge their social batteries.

Art

This is one of our main focuses as we know self expression through art brings the most engagement from participants. Across our team we have several years of experience across a variety of mediums including, Acrylic paint, pastel, Wood burning, Modelling (clay, foam) just to name a few.
